Oxford Athletic Club is the most extensive private health and fitness club in the Pittsburgh area and is nationally recognized by the (HFA) Health & Fitness Association. We are looking for enthusiastic team members to provide exceptional service to our members and their guests. We are seeking dependable and energetic evening caregivers interested in working with children 3 months through 13 years of age. Shifts include Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 AM to 1:00

Hourly, Non-Exempt Essential Job Duties:

• Manage childcare appointments and check-ins
• Facilitating engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences for children of all ages
• Designing and guiding enriching activities that promote learning and fun across all age groups
• Direct supervision of infant age children while caring for their social emotional and physical needs
• Provide a safe and clean environment for children
• Direct supervision of children while caring for their social emotional and physical needs
• Interacting and playing with children
• Responsible for assisting with potty training
• Mediating conflicts between children and reporting issues and behaviors to parents
• Supervising cleaning and disinfecting the area

Skills:

Applicant must be a dynamic high energy individual committed to children’s safety and fun while being professional Able to pass background check and obtain CPR license Must have required PA child abuse clearances

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years’ experience working directly with babies aged 3 months to 18 months.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Two to three years’ experience working directly with children in daycare, preschool or equivalent

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, bend and kneel throughout a shift
• Ability to support the weight of a child
