Lancaster, Pennsylvania About the Family Our client is a dedicated single mother to two wonderful boys, ages 2 and almost 5 (starting Kindergarten in Fall 2025). This warm and loving family has successfully maintained a live-in nanny arrangement for the past two years, with their previous nanny becoming truly part of the family. Their nanny is leaving with much regret due to her own family issues in her country of origin. The parent works full-time as a physician but prioritizes quality time with her children and maintains a clean, organized home environment. Position Overview We are seeking a kind, energetic, and reliable live-in nanny to join this established household. This role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a close-knit family while providing comprehensive childcare and light household support. Primary ResponsibilitiesDaily Care & Routine Morning preparation: Help boys get ready for the day (breakfast/dressing/ packed lunch preparation) starting at 7:00 AM School transportation: Drive the older child (with the younger child in tow) to and from Kindergarten (full-day program) Provide engaging care for the younger child (age 2) during school hours and continuing when the older child is brought home from school Afternoon care: Supervise both children from school pickup until parent returns (typically by 5:30 PM) Prepare and serve children’s dinner Educational & Enrichment Activities Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for both children Organize outings to parks, libraries, museums, and other enriching locations Facilitate meaningful playtime and learning experiences Transportation to and from scheduled activities (swim lessons for example) and scheduled play dates Support kindergarten readiness and early childhood development Additional Duties Light household tasks related to children’s care Occasional grocery shopping Evening childcare when parent has obligations (includes entertainment, bath time, and bedtime routines) Rare weekend assistance as needed Possible travel with family for vacations

Schedule & Time Off Primary Hours:

7:00 AM•5:30 PM (Monday-Friday)

Friday Schedule:

Shorter hours (parent works reduced schedule)

Variable Schedule:

Weekly schedule may vary based on parent’s work needs

Time Off:

Children visit their father typically every other weekend and occasionally 1-2 weekdays at a time (nanny is not responsible during these times)

Evening/Weekend Work:

Occasional and rare, as needed

Compensation & Benefits Salary:
