PCA Participant Care Assistant Ginger’s Adult Day Care, LLC North Augusta, SC Job Details Part-time $14 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Alzheimer’s care Hoyer lift Dementia care Working with people with developmental disabilities CPR Certification Assisting with ADLs Senior care First Aid Certification Meal preparation Cleaning PCA 2 years Entry level Full Job Description Duties are to assist Participants (mostly elderly with disabilities) with activities such as Arts & Crafts, Dance & exercise, playing games, bible study, field trips, parties/holiday celebrations, serving lunch etc… Also assist participants with personal care, such as help with using the restroom and help with changing. Some participants are incontinent. This job also consist of lifting, bending and use of a Hoyer lift. Knowledge of use of Hoyer Lift preferred. Job duties include cleaning bathrooms and activity areas. Must be a team player. Looking for someone that has a heart for this type of work. Must have at least 2 years’ experience in this field.
