Job Description:
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable Family Assistant to help care for our two children (ages 6 and 3) and support the smooth running of our home. This role includes approximately 28 hours per week of childcare and 12 hours per week of housekeeping . We are looking for someone who is active, engaged , and enjoys spending lots of one-on-one and outdoor time with children, while also keeping them on a structured daily schedule.
Childcare responsibilities include:
Driving children to and from activities Actively engaging in outdoor play, creative activities, and learning-based play Preparing and serving children’s meals Overseeing homework and educational activities Helping maintain a consistent daily schedule and routine Housekeeping responsibilities include: General home cleaning and tidying Household organization Light laundry and basic household upkeep Ideal candidate will be: Energetic, outdoorsy, and loves working closely with young children Organized and able to maintain routines Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals for children Proactive, dependable, and communicative Experienced with both childcare and housekeeping responsibilities
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm] (Some flexibility will be appreciated!)
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Prior experience with similar age groups References available upon request CPR/First Aid certification preferred
