This role involves caring for children in a safe, nurturing environment while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create engaging activities that support learning and growth. The Childcare Provider will work closely with DCS and other staff to provide high-quality care. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for children. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Support children with disabilities by providing individualized care and attention as needed. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Communicate regularly with coworkers regarding the children’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed. Experience Previous experience working with children in settings such as babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is preferred. Familiarity with child care practices and behavior management strategies is highly desirable. Experience in caregiving roles, particularly for children with disabilities, is a plus. Certification in First Aid or CPR is beneficial but not required at the time of application.
