Full Job Description Available Positions:

T-Th 8-4, Fr 8-12 Mon-Fri 8-12 Mondays and Wednesdays, 7 AM to 4 PM Tu

• Th 230-730p, more hrs ok in summer M-Th 2:30-6:30pm M-F 3pm-7pm 25 hours, 3 days a week M, T 8am-5pm W, Th 8am-12pm

Duties:

• Provide attentive and responsible care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play, learn, and grow.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational exercises.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition.
• Assist with basic household tasks related to childcare, such as laundry, tidying up play areas, and washing dishes.
• Follow parents’ instructions regarding daily routines, nap times, and any specific needs or preferences.
• Monitor children’s behavior and address any issues or concerns in a calm and appropriate manner.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, activities, and any notable events.

Skills:

• Previous experience in babysitting or caregiving roles.
• Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Proficiency in basic childcare tasks such as diaper changing, feeding, and soothing techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and establish a trusting relationship.
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to handle unexpected situations or changes in routine.
• Ability to cook simple meals for children following dietary guidelines or preferences.
• Willingness to engage in educational activities with children to support their learning and development.
