SHADES of Development is a non-profit afterschool program dedicated to enriching the lives of you through Safe Healthy Adventures that Development Essential Skill.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, organized, and energetic Site Director to lead and manage one of our afterschool program locations. The Site Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment, and ensuring high-quality programming that aligns with our mission and values.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in qualifying child/education related degree. Leadership and management experience with the ability to coach staff Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate afterschool program Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices in afterschool settings Ability to handle difficult children and parents Ability to maintain and monitor program billing and accounting tasks Ability to build and maintain relationships with parents and school personnel Computer literacy with experience using Google application

Hours and Compensation:

Full-time, salaried exempt position. Starting salary range based on experience and education ($42,000.00 to $45,360.00). Partial pay health insurance benefits Typical working hours would be from 10:00am – 6:15pm Monday – Friday; however, keep in mind that this is a salaried position that may require altered or extended hours from time to time to attend school functions, meet deadlines, attend training events, or other job related tasks. Holiday pay for 13 State and Federal Holidays Paid time off
