ABOUT THE FAMILY
The “B” family is a warm, active household with three young children and a love for learning, adventure, and time together. They’re seeking a kind, dependable nanny who can become like family, offering nurturing support while encouraging independence and growth. Eldest sister “A”, their imaginative and bright seven-year-old, loves unicorns, butterflies, flowers, painting, and math. She has a great attitude about trying new foods, even when they aren’t her favorite, and enjoys her weekly horse-riding lessons. Older brother “L”, age five, is full of energy and creativity, with a big love for dinosaurs, monster trucks, and playing the drums. He’s also a great veggie eater and a proud big brother. Baby brother “A”, their sweet two-year-old, loves watching his siblings and exploring with toys. He has Down syndrome and is making wonderful strides with the help of his gait trainer and speech development. He thrives with patient, nurturing support and a caregiver who can cheer him on through his milestones. He’s most comfortable around familiar animals, especially their beloved family dog, Luna. Their family values a nurturing but structured environment, balancing a flexible schedule with clear expectations. Their core values are love, learning, respect, and responsibility. They homeschool their children using a provided curriculum, creating a supportive, hands-on learning environment. Weekly routines include therapies for their youngest on Mondays and Thursdays, school three days a week, and fun outings like zoo trips, field trips, or games. This summer, the children will also begin swim lessons. The nanny’s role will involve supporting the children’s daily routines, encouraging learning through play, assisting with therapies when needed, and helping create joyful, engaging days. Duties also include light housekeeping, helping the kids clean up after themselves, and helping them with school. The family also has a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog named Luna, so being comfortable around pets is a must.
