Mt Pisgah Preschool has both part-time and full-time positionsavailable. We are a 4-star center and seeking individuals who wantto work with children in a Christ centered environment. Minimum Qualifications:

18 years old, have high school diploma OR NC Early Child CareCredential OR Exception Letter (start w/in 6 months and completew/in 18 months) Ability to perform all job responsibilities including physicalduties of the job without limitations. Shall be able to read, speak, and write English. Everyone must have a warm and friendly personality, besensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relatewell to children and employees, and be willing to fulfill theresponsibilities in accordance with the school’s policies. Responsibilities:

(Will include but not limited to) Supervise the care and education of a group of children asassigned, providing constant supervision and maintainingappropriate child to adult ratios at all times Maintain all operational requirements for a safe and healthylicensed child care center, with a developmentally appropriateChristian curriculum/program Maintain up-to-date

records as required, includingimplementation of policies/procedures Be able to lift, hold or carry any enrolled child who weighs upto 50 pounds and to perform physical duties of the job withoutlimitation Be able to speak clearly, to communicate effectively includingin emergency situations Be able to read at a level high enough to read prescription andmedicine labels, and records Be able to communicate with parents and employees verbally andin writing at a satisfactory level to complete forms fordocumentation of accidents, first aid treatment given, and/or otherforms required by the center, DHHS and CACFP Assist in maintaining safe and healthy classrooms andplayground areas Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents andfamilies, keeping them informedof preschool activities, staffchanges, and special events Maintain confidentiality about students, families, co-workers,church members & business of Mt. Pisgah Complete required training and annual hours required and keepthe file updated. Have and maintain your WORKS account.
