Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our facility
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and educational programs
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow
• Promote good behavior management techniques and encourage positive social interactions
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
• Ensure the safety of all children by following established protocols and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise
• Administer basic first aid when necessary

Skills:

• Experience in behavior management techniques for children of different age groups
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies
• Familiarity with preschool curriculum and early childhood education principles
• Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
• Proficiency in toddler care, including diaper changing, feeding, and nap routines
• Understanding of infant care practices, including feeding, soothing, and developmental milestones
• Basic knowledge of childhood development stages and milestones
• First aid certification is preferred but not required
• Previous experience in babysitting or childcare settings is a plus We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
