CityLight Church launched in January 2019 with a clear mission: to move people from w they are to w God wants them to be. Located just minutes from the University of Florida and a short drive to Florida’s beautiful beaches, CityLight is a young, passionate, and growing church with a heart for reaching people and building creative, authentic worship environments. We are currently seeking a Worship Arts Director who is not only a skilled leader and musician, but also a visionary, creative disciple-maker who can inspire teams and lead our church in meaningful worship experiences.

Cultivate a culture of authenticity, excellence, creativity, and spiritual growth among artists and musicians.
Build and shepherd a growing team of worship leaders, musicians, and creatives. Lead Worship & Engage God’s People Plan and lead vibrant, theologically sound, Spirit-led worship gatherings that are both excellent and engaging.
Encourage creative expression and participation across all generations and backgrounds.
Organize and lead special worship events (worship nights, creative showcases, etc.). Lead & Equip Creative Teams Oversee Audio/Visual and Creative Arts Teams (stage design, lighting, video, photography, etc.).
Manage tech tools and platforms: ProPresenter, Planning Center, Multitracks, DAWs, etc.
Lead rehearsals and ensure smooth, spirit-filled Sunday morning execution. Elevate Production & Creativity Be a forward-thinker in how technology, music, and media intersect to enhance worship andmunication. craft services that creatively tell stories and stir hearts.
Lead weekly planning meetings to collaborate with staff and improve Sunday programming. Digital Engagement & Online Experience Oversee CityLight’s social media presence and weekly content strategy.
Lead the vision and execution of our livestream and online engagement experience.
Collaborate with pastors to create meaningful midweek content: video devos, recaps, clips, reels, etc.•
What We’re Looking For Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of experience in worship leadership, team building, and creative arts ministry.
Strong musical ability (vocally and instrumentally) with a heart to lead people into God’s presence.
Skills & Strengths:
Follower of Jesus with spiritual maturity and a desire to disciple others.
Team player with high emotional intelligence and relational capacity.
Project manager mindset•anized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Creative thinker who’s passionate about worship, media, and next-gen ministry.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in: ProPresenter, LightKey, Multitracks, DAWs, social platforms. Working knowledge in Photoshop.
