The Creative Pastor role at Beach Church may be the next step of obedience God is calling you to take. Located two blocks from the ocean in Jacksonville Beach, FL, Beach Church has a unique opportunity to live out its mission to reach, raise up, and release followers of Jesus who change the world. The Creative Pastor will play an integral role in this mission. This is a senior ministry position that will be a catalyst for driving vision forward through big picture planning and the shepherding of a staff and volunteers in three distinct but connected, integral ministries: Communications, Worship, and Tech Production. Senior Ministry. Working with other members of the Senior Ministry Team (Lead, Operations, Discipleship, and Family Pastors), the Creative Pastor will help create vision and direction for the life of the church. This aspect of the role focuses on strategies around building healthy teams and shepherding staff and lay people well. Additionally, this role will work alongside the leadership board in church-wide initiatives as well. Communications. Communication of the church requires a great working relationship across all departments. In an effort to serve other ministries in the church, it is important that the Communications Team has a strong sense of direction and vision. The Creative Pastor is the one who brings that vision and direction to the team and empowers them to run and make visione to life. ing innovate through creative social media marketing campaigns to making creative videos, the Communications Team is instrumental in helping people experience Jesus, and this Creative Pastor will play a large role in making those things happen through their wisdom and leadership. Worship. The Creative Pastor will be ultimately responsible for leading and directing the worship atmosp at Beach. Spiritually leading a team of staff and volunteers through weekly elements of worship, the Creative Pastor will assure the church is shepherding and equipping people to lead people into meaningful worship spaces. Leading worship is a part of this role, so it is important to have a solid working knowledge of music theory and an ability to lead a room in worship as well. Tech Production. T are many workingponents of a modern church production. The Creative Pastor should possess a strong working knowledge of tech production and be able to assist teams of staff and volunteers in creating streamless environments for Sunday worship and online experiences.
