Mission Hill Church in Tampa, Florida is prayerfully seeking a full-time Student Pastor who will be responsible for ministering to students in 7-12th grade. This individual will have a vision for gospel ministry and leadership toward students on our central campus, coordinating and strengthening overall ministry to students on our other two campuses, and also helping to engage student culture in the wider Tampa Bay area. This is a vital role on our NextGen/Family Ministry team. Mission Hill is an ethnically diverse, multi-cultural church. It is not unusual to see approx. 70 different nations represented at our weekend worship gatherings w we offer live translation in 3 different languages. This candidate would be benefitted by cross-cultural ministry and missions experience. We expect the candidate to have a growing, personal relationship with Christ, and a big heart for students. This individual should possess effectivemunication skills, the ability to work as both a team player and as a leader, the capacity to think outside of the box as well as a desire to continue to grow and learn. The ideal candidate has or is in pursuit of a Masters level Seminary degree with 3-5 years of experience in ministry with students and their families.
