Worship Pastor Purpose of the

Job:

The role of the Worship Pastor is to serve the Lead Pastor in overseeing and coordinating the worship ministry , ensuring alignment with the vision of New Life. The Worship Pastor takes on the responsibility of guarding the spiritual culture and character of the worship ministry and its Dream Team and other people or groups as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

Experience and Knowledge:

Minimum of 5 years of worship leading in a local church is preferred but not required
Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in ProPresenter.
Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software.
Proficiency in voice and preferably an instrument Ability to create, coordinate and lead a worship experience with a team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Worship Team
Oversee and coordinate Worship Nights
Develop and Oversee the structures and systems of New Life Worship. This includes but is not limited to new team member acquisition and onboarding, scheduling of team and service planning, Song management and music distribution, Rehearsal/sound check, Good teammunication, Leadership development
Work closely with the Creative and Production Department Plan and implement Worship projects and department goals.
Fulfill the requirements and faithfully perform the duties of “Pastor” at New Life to the best their ability.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Pastoral Care
Conduct research on other large churches regarding their approach to worship/music ministry.
Support other ministries and all church events as needed Maintain a consistent relationship with God. Daily praying, reading of scripture, tithing to New Life.
Be at all staff meetings and creative meetings as scheduled.
Be able to clearlymunicate management decisions to all necessary staff and volunteers.
Continually casts vision to the worship team.
Should be available to serve in other ministries.
