Director of Next Gen Ministries Description:
Christ Journey Church is seeking a full-time Student Ministry Associate to help middle and high school students find and follow Christ. This role combines relational ministry, creative innovation, and team collaboration to support dynamic student environments, school outreach, and a growing digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the teaching rotation for midweek and Sunday student gatherings Help shape digital content for social media (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.) Support student environments through games, transitions, and engagement moments Assist with planning and setup for events, retreats, and camps Collaborate on creative series design and seasonal programming Engage relationally with students at services, events, and local schools Support small group leader communication and resource distribution Uphold safety and screening protocols to ensure secure ministry spaces Contribute to a fun, welcoming atmosphere for students
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in student ministry, digital media, or communications Strong communication, storytelling, and team collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant ministry/media training Comfortable on stage; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Familiar with tools like
Canva, CapCut, ProPresenter, TikTok, Instagram, and G-Suite Spiritual & Leadership Attributes:
