The Praise & Worship Leader will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading worship during Sunday services and special events. This role requires musical excellence, spiritual maturity, and leadership that inspires the worship team and congregation to go deeper in their worship life.
Responsibilities:
Lead engaging, Spirit-led worship services. Select and rehearse music in alignment with the vision and flow of each service. Oversee and build the worship team (vocalists and musicians), cultivating a strong culture of unity and excellence. Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to ensure worship aligns with sermon themes and church vision. Attend regular leadership and planning meetings. Maintain spiritual disciplines and serve as a role model in faith and conduct.
Qualifications:
Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects spiritual maturity and integrity. Proven experience leading worship in a church setting. Strong vocal and musical abilities (instrumental skills are a plus). Knowledge of a wide range of worship styles (contemporary, gospel, spontaneous worship, etc.). Ability to lead and work with a team with humility, respect, and vision. Comfortable with using worship software (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter) and live sound equipment (training available if needed).
