This role is vital to ensuring that our church’s resources are effectively stewarded to support the mission and vision of Generation Church.

Position Overview:

The Executive Pastor will oversee the day-to-day operations of Generation Church, ensuring that all administrative functions—finance, accounting, facilities, operations, and IT—are running smoothly and effectively across all campuses. This role will work closely with the Lead Pastor, Senior Leadership, and other ministry teams to provide strategic direction and leadership, ensuring that the church is well-equipped to serve and impact its congregation and community. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of executive-level experience in a church or large nonprofit environment, with a strong background in multisite church operations. Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices to safeguard the church’s financial health. 2.

Oversee the church’s operational systems, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in areas such as staff administration, volunteer management, and logistical coordination. Lead and supervise administrative, facilities, and support staff. Develop and maintain office systems, records, and internal communications. Ensure all church policies and procedures are documented, up to date, and followed. Oversee the management of contracts, insurance, legal documents, and vendor relationships. 3.

Lead and manage facility construction projects, including new buildings, renovations, and improvements, from planning through to completion. Collaborate with local municipalities, architects, contractors, and project managers to navigate permitting, zoning, and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance and timely project delivery. Ensure that facilities are safe, welcoming, and accessible for church staff, volunteers, and the community. 4.

IT & Systems Oversight:

Lead the management of IT systems, including church management software (CMS), live-streaming technology, and IT infrastructure, ensuring they support the needs of the ministry and the church’s growth. Implement and maintain digital and technical systems that enhance worship services, communication, and outreach efforts across campuses. Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and scalable as the church continues to expand. Oversee facility security systems such as security cameras, burglar alarms and fire suppression. 5.
