OVERVIEW
Chapelhill Church is a family of churches located in the metro Atlanta area. Our Chapelhill Atlanta | East Point location serves 800-1000 people each week. The Atlanta Executive Pastor will own the pathway that enables people (from first-time visitors to leaders) to take their next step as well as assist the Lead Pastor in ministry.
This role helps lead our Chapelhill Atlanta location into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
RESPONSIBILITES
Lead the Next Steps Team (Small Groups, Growth Track, Baptism) by continually giving vision, direction, leadership development, and working towards annual growth goals
Serve as the primary point of support for the Lead Pastor, assisting with day-to-day operations, coordination, and leadership initiatives
Evaluate and assure the ongoing effectiveness of current processes and procedures that are used to connect people to the church
Lead strategies for consistently building, safeguarding, and re-enforcing the culture of Chapelhill
Oversee and manage ministry budgets
Assist Lead Pastor with planning the First Wednesday Prayer Gathering and Sunday Services
Lead, develop, and empower Dream Team Members (volunteers)
Participate in general pastoral duties as needed (i.e. weddings, funerals, pastoral care)
Oversee collaboration with themunications team to develop and implement effective strategies for engaging members and attendees
Manage Benevolence requests in cooperation with Location Coordinator
Provide oversight to Facilities Manager
Oversee Pastoral Care, Outreach, and key discipleship ministries
Serve and support the leadership andanizational needs of Chapelhill

Experience in building and leading volunteer teams
Strongmunication skills
Must be a team-oriented person and have a servant leader spirit
The ability to learn new systems and technologies
Must be able to handle confidential information
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in vocational ministry, demonstrating a strongmitment to faith-based leadership andmunity engagement
Approved ministry credentials or willingness to obtain credentials in the first two years of employment
