Job Description
Bi Vocational Pastor Needed Southside Baptist Church of Blakely, GA is looking for a bi vocational pastor for a small, conservative congregation that holds a traditional worship service. Our church is seeking a man of God that has been called to be the next pastor of our church. The candidate must believe the Bible is God’s Word without error & have a heart for his congregation & serving others and affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Qualifications & Responsibilities Must be Licensed & ordained Duties to fill the pulpit every Sunday morning and Wednesday night & Sunday night in the event Sunday night services were resumed. the pastor would be responsible for the pulpit, if unable to be present at any service, he would be expected to find a suitable supply preacher. Be available to assist with local outreach, hospital & home visitation as needed. Lead business meetings. A pastorium is provided if needed. Salary & benefits to be negotiated.
