Divinity Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual guidance and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Christian counseling, crisis intervention, and bereavement support.
Duties:
- Educate individuals on spiritual matters and provide Christian counseling
- Offer bereavement support to those experiencing loss
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during difficult times
- Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Conduct hospice care visits and offer spiritual comfort
- Assist in event planning for religious services and ceremonies
- Mentor individuals seeking spiritual guidance
- Write reports and maintain documentation of interactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Divinity, Theology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Certification or licensure as a Chaplain is a plus
CPE MUST HAVE
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Experience in conflict management and resolution
