Hospice Chaplain Family First Hospice & Palliative Care LLC Lilburn, GA 30047 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual support, bereavement support, and guidance to individuals in various settings, including healthcare facilities, hospices, and community organizations. The Chaplain will play a crucial role in offering emotional and spiritual care to patients, families, and staff during times of crisis and transition. This position requires a strong commitment to serving diverse populations with sensitivity and respect. Duties Provide spiritual care and counseling to patients, families, and staff in a variety of settings. Conduct religious services, rituals, and ceremonies as requested or needed. Offer bereavement support to individuals coping with loss. Engage in crisis intervention and management during critical situations. Mentor individuals seeking spiritual guidance or support. Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care. Write reports and documentation related to spiritual care activities. Present workshops or seminars on topics related to spiritual health and wellness. Assist in conflict management by providing mediation and support during difficult discussions. Qualifications A degree in theology, divinity, or a related field is preferred. Experience in hospice care or similar environments is highly desirable. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to present information clearly and compassionately. Proficient in crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to provide mentoring and guidance to individuals seeking spiritual development.
