Youth Director Eatonton First Methodist Church 103 W Magnolia St, Eatonton, GA 31024 Job Summary Youth Director will lead and nurture the spiritual (Christian) growth of middle and high school youth within the community and congregation. This position is responsible for building relationships, overseeing youth activities, and supporting local and global missions as a Global Methodist congregation. “Come serve and grow in your faith with us”! The Youth Director will work closely with parents, volunteers, and the lead pastor to create an inclusive, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment for youth to grow in their faith. Responsibilities Ministry/Christian Leadership Spiritual Guidance to youth and their parents Communication with the youth, their parents, and the congregation Volunteer managment Administrative duties Managing our Youth events and trips Helping to lead youth to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ Skills A saving faith in Jesus Christ A real sense of Chrisian calling to youth and their parents A general knowledge of Christian teachings Work Schedule & Composition 15-20 hours/week Youth held either on Wednesday nights or Sunday evenings (5:00 – 6:30) Special events, outings, and trips may apply To Apply Please submit your resumé and a cover letter to david@eatontonfmc.org and bolenjr@bellsouth.net .
