Worship Leader Broken Outreach Ministries 2019 Rosier Road, Augusta, GA 30906 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to guide our congregation in spiritual growth through music and worship. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a heart for mentoring others, creating an uplifting environment that fosters community engagement and spiritual development. This role is essential in shaping the worship experience, ensuring that it aligns with our mission and values. Duties Lead worship services with enthusiasm and creativity, selecting appropriate music that resonates with the congregation. Mentor and educate team members, providing guidance on musical techniques and spiritual development. Collaborate with church staff to plan worship services, including special events and seasonal celebrations. Communicate effectively with the congregation, encouraging participation in worship activities. Organize rehearsals for the worship team, ensuring all members are prepared and confident in their roles. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees, promoting inclusivity within the worship experience. Stay current with contemporary worship trends while respecting traditional elements of faith. Requirements Proven leadership experience in a church or ministry setting. Strong mentoring abilities to guide musicians and volunteers in their spiritual and musical journeys. Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse groups effectively. A deep understanding of music theory and proficiency in at least one musical instrument preferred.
