Flexible working hours Growth opportunities Relaxed atmosphere As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the chaplain works under the supervision of the Clinical Director and is responsible for providing spiritual support to patients and families consistent with the patient/family’s wishes and belief system. The chaplain is responsible for implementing and coordinating the provision of spiritual support to patients and families in accordance with the hospice plan of care.

Qualifications:

Graduate degree preferred (Master’s Divinity or Theology preferred), or Bachelor’s degree with coursework from an accredited seminary or school of theology, with certification in hospital or pastoral ministry preferred. Minimum two years pastoral experience in a hospital or community ministry. Demonstrated ability to be open, flexible and ecumenical. Experience counseling patients and families who are dealing with terminal illness. Demonstrated understanding of hospice philosophy and principles. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation, and ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and in good working order.

Pay:

$28.00 – $34.00 per hour
