Job Description
SUMMARY The Worship Programming Coordinator is responsible for owning and managing the entire Sunday worship programming process across multiple campuses, from creative brainstorming through final resource handoff. This person cares deeply about fostering healthy collaboration and views Worship Programming as an important tool in the spiritual formation of Pinelake Church. This role requires strong project management and communication skills to refine and improve existing systems while effectively collaborating with teams such as Teaching, Production, Communications, Campus Worship and Campus Pastors. The Worship Programming Coordinator oversees the planning and execution of worship elements not only for regular services but also for special events like United WKND, Camps, and PLC. Additionally, they serve in the One Church Worship Leader rotation to strategically support campuses.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church. + Assists the Campus Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry. + As a part of the overall One Church staff team, participate in campus-wide ministry events and the shepherding of our One Church faith family. + Basic personal responsibilities: + Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3. + Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children). + Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you. + Maintain active participation in community. + Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality. + Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24). + Value the 7 H’s of our staff culture in your heart, home, and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health and Harmony).
SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Own the Sunday worship programming process from start to finish, delegating and collaborating as appropriate. + Special emphasis on working, and improving, the existing process which requires strong project management and communication skills. + Take a service plan from creative brainstorm and collaboration through refinement process and hand off to team to create resources. + Oversee the programming process for special events and ministries that receives One Church support/oversight – United WKND, Camps, PLC, etc. + Act as the chief communicator to teams and leaders who intersect with worship planning. + Teaching team, OC Production, Comms, Campus Pastors, etc. + Serve on the Worship Leader rotation for One Church to provide strategic support to campuses. + Serve as the primary “owner and gatekeeper” of Planning Center. Ensuring that resources that have been created by OC Staff and appropriate service details are accurate and up to date.
