Job Description
Brush Creek Baptist Church in Bear Creek NC is praying for our next part time Youth Minister who will spiritually mentor our youth ages 12-18. We are praying God will lead us to an individual possessing the following: Christian faith and the ability to share their salvation experience and lead others to accept Christ through sharing the good news of the gospel. Practice of spiritual disciplines of prayer, worship, Bible study and witnessing. Passion for the youth of today. Willingness to lead/teach the youth on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights and on other special events. Ability to plan/organize summer and winter youth camps, retreats, and special events throughout the year. Willingness to meet with the Pastor for weekly prayer, planning, and encouragement. Ability to work cooperatively with church leaders, parents, and community partners to serve our youth, church. and community in the name of Jesus. Enrollment in Seminary/Bible College, or possessing a degree in the Christian field, or experience working with students. Affirmation of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
