$31.4K – $38.8K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Administrative experience Leadership Entry level Full Job Description Summary of Position The Summit Kids Associate is responsible for fulfilling the vision of Summit Kids and the Summit Church by partnering with Summit Church parents in order to raise up a generation of Christ-followers at the Brier Creek campus. Qualifications and Requirements Demonstrates spiritual maturity Ability to disciple volunteers and families Ability to recruit, coordinate and train volunteers Good leadership and people skills Strong administrative skills A team player willing to do what is best for the gospel, The Summit Church and the Summit Kids ministry Kids Ministry experience (preferred) Member of Summit Church or willing and able to become a member Responsibilities Assist the Summit Kids Director in the discipleship of Summit Kids families and volunteers Coordinate the AWANA program at the Brier Creek campus Assist the Summit Kids Director in the recruitment, coordination, and communication of Summit Kids volunteers for AWANA. Assist the Summit Kids Director in equipping leaders and training volunteers. Assist the Summit Kids Director in the planning and execution of special events for families at the Brier Creek campus Provide administrative support for the Summit Kids Ministry Set up the Summit Kids Area weekly for weekend services Attend Campus specific meetings and events Attend Summit Kids specific meetings and events Churchwide Events The hours for this position are expected to be 20 hours per week. As one church that meets in many locations, there are several times throughout the year that Summit holds church-wide events in an effort to do whatever it takes to reach all people. All staff members are expected to serve at these church-wide events regardless of the positions they hold. Such events include, but are not limited to: Easter services, church-wide prayer meetings, Good Friday service, and Christmas services. Serving expectations will be communicated in advance of each event.
