The Administrator ensures a safe, nurturing, and mission-aligned environment for the sisters. This role requires strong leadership, compassionate care, and strategic coordination to uphold the Congregation’s values while fostering community discernment and simplicity of lifestyle. The Administrator will ensure that the charism and spirit of the Sisters of Holy Cross are always upheld. This role requires a deep commitment to the core values of the congregation: Identification with Christ, Union of Hearts, and Zeal for the Mission .

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Mission Alignment:

Ensure that the entire Campus and related ministries embody the Sisters of Holy Cross Charism, fostering a spiritual and communal environment rooted in faith.

Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the Campus of the Sisters of Holy Cross and their ministries, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, peaceful, and mission-driven environment.

Financial Stewardship:

Oversee the management of budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation while prioritizing the needs of the sisters and aligning with the Congregation’s commitment to simplicity and stewardship.

Healthcare and Well-being:

Oversee the coordination of healthcare services, including the coordination of medical professionals, caregivers, and support staff to ensure the sisters and residents receive quality medical care while promoting holistic well-being.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to healthcare, safety, ethical, and legal regulations and standards governing Campus entities and their ministries, including the Holy Cross Early Childhood Center (licensed Group Child Care Program) and Holy Cross Health Center (licensed nursing home).

Staff Development:
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of respect, service, compassion, and dedication to the mission.
  • Ensure training and formation opportunities are provided for employees and volunteers, emphasizing compassionate care, simplicity, and mission-driven service.
  • Conduct introductory and annual performance evaluations to ensure high quality care, life-enrichment, and adherence to the Congregation’s principles.
Spiritual and Pastoral Care:
  • Coordinate and facilitate matters related to the spiritual and communal and congregational dimensions of the lives of the sisters while overseeing the creation and sustenance of an environment that promotes personal and spiritual enrichment.
  • Coordinate and oversee the overall pastoral care for the sisters.

Support the sisters in their spiritual journey, assuring religious services, retreats, and lifelong sense of mission.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, leadership, pastoral care, nonprofit management, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in administration , healthcare , and/ or leadership .
  • Commitment to the Congregation’s mission, values, and spiritual identity.
  • Deep understanding of the Sisters of Holy Cross spirituality and mission .
  • Strong organizational, financial management, and strategic planning skills .
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster unity and collaboration across the entire Campus and related ministries.
  • Thorough awareness and understanding of the needs of aging populations.
  • Ability to work under moderate pressure and to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Physical Demands:
  • Normal physical mobility, including the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to grasp and lift up to 15 pounds. The Sisters of Holy Cross Campus is made up of: St. George Manor, St. George Manor Extension, Holy Cross Health Center, Holy Cross Early Childhood Center and Holy Cross Family Learning Center This role is more than administration
