Youth Minister & Religious Education Coordinator Holy Trinity RC Church 1030 Central Ave, Dunkirk, NY 14048 Youth Minister Position

• Develop, oversee and coordinate youth ministry programs across the family of parishes.
• Utilize creative approaches to evangelization, incorporating modern technology and social media.
• Plan and lead engaging youth programs, events, retreats and activities that promote spiritual growth.
• Encourage fellowship and provide opportunities for youth to serve the family and community.
• Work collaboratively with parish leadership, volunteers, and families to strengthen youth engagement.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate ministry needs. Religious Education Coordinator
• Recruit, train and oversee volunteer catechists.
• Direct faith formation programs for children (Kindergarten through Confirmation) and Adult RCIA.
• Coordinate retreats and days of reflection opportunities for the parish.
• Ensure compliance with Diocesan guidelines for curriculum, sacramental records and child protection policies.
• Plan & prepare liturgy, ceremony and rehearsals for all sacramental celebrations
• Develop and manage the annual faith formation calendar in collaboration with parish staff and clergy.
• Collaborate with pastor and business manager to prepare an annual budget and follow parish best practices for financial reporting by submitting financial records in a timely manner to the business manager. Qualifications
• Practicing Catholic in good standing, with a working knowledge of and a strong commitment to the mission of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in technology and social media for ministry outreach.
• Prior experience in youth ministry, religious education, or faith formation is a plus.
