Job Description
Founded in 1898 by Roswell Park, MD, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center was the first institution in the nation dedicated to a comprehensive, laboratory-based approach to the understanding and treatment of cancer. Today RPCI helps set the national standard for cancer care as one of 19 members of the prestigious National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). Our mission is to eliminate cancer’s grip on humanity. Functions within the interfaith Pastoral Care program and provides clinical pastoral services to Roswell Park inpatients, outpatients, and their families; assesses the need and desire for spiritual care to patients and their families and coordinates the provision of services with medical care and the element of care as provided by the Psychosocial Oncology department; conducts and participates in religious, liturgical and para-liturgical services in Roswell Park’s Interfaith Chapel; serves as a resource for organization staff.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
