Mashgiach / Rabbi Legend Food Group Brooklyn, NY Job Details Full-time $28 – $40 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Expediting Restaurant experience Full Job Description Castell’s, an upscale kosher restaurant in Gravesend, Brooklyn, is seeking a Nighttime Mashgiach who is also willing and capable of working as an Expo (expeditor) during service. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone passionate about kosher integrity and excellent service. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment and understands both halachic requirements and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain kosher standards in the kitchen during evening hours in coordination with the Vaad Hakashrus of Flatbush Perform required duties of a mashgiach, including verifying labeling, checking deliveries, lighting fires, and general kashrut supervision Actively work on the pass during service, calling and coordinating dishes, ensuring food accuracy and plating standards Communicate effectively with the front and back of house teams to ensure seamless service

Requirements:

Must be Shomer Shabbat and Shomer Kashrut Previous experience as a mashgiach and/or in a restaurant expo role is a strong plus Ability to work evenings and late nights (exact schedule to be discussed) Authorized to work in the U.S.
