Role:

We are seeking a Protestant Minister to provide meaningful spiritual care and support to individuals with mental health needs in a clinical setting. This part-time role is ideal for a compassionate, patient, and experienced chaplain who can dedicate one day per week to making a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and spiritual encounters. Lead group religious services, biblical readings, and other spiritual activities. Escort and support clients during community religious excursions (based on clinical stability). Build partnerships with local churches and faith-based organizations to support community reintegration and spiritual inclusion. Plan and coordinate spiritual events in collaboration with the rehabilitation and spiritual care teams. Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, progress summaries, and attendance records. Participate in team meetings, supervision, treatment planning, and spiritual care trainings. Provide support during or after trauma-related events as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Theology or a related field. Completion of at least 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from an accredited program (candidates with fewer units will be considered). Prior experience working as a clinical chaplain, ideally in a mental health or healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a deep sense of patience and empathy.
