Position Summary:
The Director of Children’s Ministries is a strategic leader responsible for shaping a dynamic, engaging ministry that nurtures the spiritual formation of children and equips families for lifelong discipleship. This includes oversight of our birth-to-fifth-grade ministry areas, and family-focused outreach initiatives. The Director will foster what already exists while cultivating a fresh, future-ready vision that grows our reach, strengthens our leaders, and deepensmunity engagement.

Jesus Primary Responsibilities:
Pray regularly for the ministry
Build and lead a Christ-centered, high-impact ministry that fosters spiritual formation from cradle to 5th grade. Empower a culture of discipleship among children and their families through creative programming, Scripture engagement, and relational ministry. Recruit, equip, and disciple volunteers and lay leaders through training, encouragement, and vision alignment. Create and implement strategic and measurable goals to engage families new to the church, especially those disconnected from faith.
Integrate digital tools andmunication platforms to connect with families in real-time.
Oversee Summer Kids Camp
Work Closely with Preschool and NextGen Leader to align all family ministries to the goals set.
Family Ministry & Parent Engagement:
Develop ministries that empower parents as the primary disciplers of their children Champion a churchwide culture that values family faith formation and multigenerational worship.
Program Leadership:
Collaborate with ministry teams to implement weekly programming and seasonal outreach (e.g., Kids Camp,Seasonal events, clubs , family nights). Ensure all programming aligns with the mission and remains relevant to the needs of families. Provide leadership development and goal setting for all coordinators and volunteer teams.
Administrative & Organizational Leadership:
Maintain accurate data systems for children, volunteers, and families (e.g., baptism records, follow-ups). Track ministry effectiveness using both qualitative and quantitative tools. Prepare and manage ministry budgets; ensure financial accountability. Regularly attend and contribute to staff and leadership meetings. Minimum four year undergraduate degree or relevant experience
Salary & Benefits:
