Background:
Pennsylvania Newtown Christian Church (PNCC) is a growing church of approximately 50 families of mainly first- and second-generation Chinese immigrants dedicated to gospel of Jesus Christ in obedience to His Great Commission. PNCC has four regional fellowship groups that cover Yardley, Langhorne, Newtown, Northampton, Buckingham, Doylestown, New Hope areas, and is looking to expand throughout entire Bucks County, PA. We are seeking a God-centered, mission-minded pastor/minister to shepherd and disciple our youth group aged from middle schoolers to college students. Our youth ministry ismitted to establishing a Biblical foundation for the faith, equipping young believers to witness God’s Love among their peers, and fostering spiritual growth in a friendly environment
Qualification:
A born-again Christian who has devotion to God’s Words, trust and walk with Jesus Christ through prayerful life and fellowship with other believers.
Has received a calling to serve and minster among youth.
Agree with PNCC Statement of Faith.

A team leader, with good interpersonal, administrative, andmunication skills.
Formal Christian theological training required from an accredited seminary either at bachelor’s, master’s or at a doctoral level. Gifted in leading a youth ministry, leading Bible Study, and preaching biblical truth and knowledge.
Job Description:
The Youth Pastor/Youth Director is a versatile role that encapsulates leading youth group as well as raising up the next generation of believers. He will serve the church by developing, coordinating and administering an effective andprehensive ministry to the junior-high and senior-high youth of the church, and providing leadership to and supervision of staff members and volunteers involved in this ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of Elder and Deacon Board, the youth Pastor/Director will develop and oversee the youth ministry, including:
Worship service,
Sunday school,
Bible study group,
Visitation and spiritual consultation,
Outreach and evangelism,
Missions,
Fellowship,
Discipleship,
Affirmation of youth,
Support of families of youth.
Preach 60-70% of Sundays and coordinate guest speakers
Organize and coordinate weekly Friday Youth fellowship gatherings
Lead Bible studies at Friday fellowship and at breakout activities (i.e., Sunday school)
Provide visitations and counseling to youth and/or parents as needed
Plan andanize outreach activities
Plan monthly/bimonthly youth fellowship events
Attend monthly Elder and Deacon Board meetings and staff meetings and retreats
Coordinate the pastor and parent meeting regularly tomunicate the spiritual growth of their youth, and invite parents’ engagement
Mentor and disciple congregants to raise up leaders and prepare the youth for college
Provide pastoral duties and care to the youth group
