Life Groups Pastor CEFC Church – Carlisle, PA 290 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 Life Groups Pastor CEFC is seeking a gifted associate pastor to lead and grow a strong Life Group ministry focused on discipling people in the context of Christian Community. CEFC is a growing multi-site church in South Central Pennsylvania with locations in Carlisle, Mount Holly Springs, and Mechanicsburg. The area is rich in history and is known for its small-town character. With mountains, trout-filled streams, and the Appalachian Trail nearby, it is a great place to call home and to raise a family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team in the development and growth of a strong Life Group ministry at the Carlisle Campus
• Recruit, train and develop Life Group coaches and leaders
• Form and maintain Life Groups
• Mobilize and encourage people to engage in life-on-life discipleship in the context of Christian community
• Develop and maintain an annual ministry plan that ensures continuous improvement and growth
• Perform other pastoral responsibilities including teaching, baptisms, weddings, and funerals
• Provide input to the development of the annual budget and oversee budget execution for Life Groups ministry at the Carlisle Campus

WHAT A STRONG CANDIDATE WOULD LOOK LIKE

• Mature Christian with a calling to disciple and develop others
• Strong leader of character with 5 to seven years of ministry or other relevant experience
• A track record of building successful, high-functioning teams
• Bachelor’s Degree in biblical/theological studies required, seminary degree preferred
• A self-starter who can act within the bounds of vision and guidance
• An effective communicator (oral and written) who is skilled in the use of social media
