Req # 27624 The Chaplain is responsible for the delivery of spiritual care to patients, their loved ones, and, as appropriate, staff. S/he will have responsibility to ensure that religious and spiritual needs of patients and their family, and as appropriate staff are met in areas to which s/he is assigned. The Chaplain will report to the Manager of Spiritual Care.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Master of Divinity or Theology from an accredited divinity school or similar degreed program; minimum of 1, prefered 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education; ordained or eligible for endorsement from recognized religious group; eligible for certification by APC or ACPE or other certification organization for the field of chaplaincy, and/or degree in counseling background or other experience needed.
