Position Responsibilities:

Lead Discipleship Ministry through developing disciples who make disciples. Create a culture, teach, model and coach others to equip the saints. Implement Discipleship vision, working with Support Discipleship and your Campus Pastor to localize and scale appropriately. Implement Discipleship Ministry Mission, Pillars, and Standards (MPS) by creating excellence and leadership depth within On-site Groups, Off-site Groups, Classes, Baptism, and Mentoring. Recruit and develop a Discipleship Lead Team that will develop and shepherd all volunteers in the Discipleship Ministry, meeting with them regularly as a team and in 1:1s. Oversee pastoral care for the campus, including weddings, funerals, and home, hospital, or jail visits. Uphold standards for initial and ongoing training of volunteers, using the resources provided by Support Discipleship. Lead local missions efforts for the campus by connecting with our community ministry partners. Oversee financial partnerships with these organizations and work to mobilize people in our church to serve with them. Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
