Mount Pleasant Hours per week: Full-time, 40 hours This position reports to: Pastor of Seacoast Dream Team The mission: Seacoast Church goes all out in our mission to help others Find God, Grow your Faith, Discover your Purpose, and Make a Difference. Our Guest Services Ministry Leader is on mission to make sure we are creating an intentional, welcoming, and inviting culture each time our guests enter our doors. Key Responsibilities Heart to Serve Create an intentional culture that welcomes and invites our guests each Weekend, First Wednesday, and other special Mount Pleasant events by recruiting, scheduling, and empowering our Dream Team Oversee key Dream Team areas that include but may not be limited to: Service Coordinators/Hosts/Greeters New Here and Info Desk Parking and Trolly Teams Coffee Team Response Station Team Dream Team Central hospitality Identify, train, and empower leaders in each area, creating a coaching model that reflects our heart to serve and welcome each person that enters our doors Serve as weekend liaison between Dream Team, ministry leaders, and Serve Area leaders Create a pipeline of ready to serve leaders Promote retention by pastoring, caring and developing our Dream Team Other Duties Create working relationship with Safety team to ensure our building is safe for those in attendance during weekend/weekday ministry events Pastoral Duties (if licensed) Conduct weddings, funerals; providing appropriate preparation and support Minister-On-Call Rotation Assist in Baptisms and communion services Accountable Team Member Follow up with potential Dream Teamers by responding to all assigned connect cards Actively participate in weekly department and staff meetings; attend 1-on-1 meetings; attend monthly All-Staff meeting Support the goals of the Operations department by demonstrating teamwork and performing other duties as needed Job Essentials Christ Follower (Seacoast Church makes hiring decisions aligned to our religious faith and beliefs) A calling to help Seacoast members take their next steps in serve opportunities throughout the church Demonstrated experience in recruiting and growing volunteer teams Ability to maintain calm demeanor and provide timely solutions during high-stress/high volume events Live and drive Seacoast cultural values to Love God.
