Position Responsibilities:

Execute and uphold the Discipleship mission, pillars, and standards to create a culture that teaches, models, and coaches others to live in an everyday relationship with Jesus. Develop the Discipleship ministry using the vision, resources, and training of NewSpring Church. Pastor a Discipleship Lead Team of staff and volunteers at the Clemson campus that will develop and shepherd all volunteers within the ministry, meeting with them regularly as a team and in 1:1s. Uphold standards for initial and ongoing training of volunteers, using the resources provided by Discipleship Support. Work with Discipleship Support and Clemson campus leadership to localize ministry appropriately, provide feedback, and collaborate on the following: Provide consistent community offerings, including groups and classes. Work with Campus Pastor to help with care and meet practical needs, including baptism, prayer, pre-marital mentoring, pastoral needs, financial assistance, and financial coaching. Championing the adult discipleship pathway in collaboration with Clemson staff director team. Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
