Job Summary :

The part-time Children’s Director and Ministry Assistant is responsible for the overall oversight of the ministry to children (birth to 5th grade), and their parents. They will also perform office duties such as creating and printing Sunday bulletins, and inputting and maintaining church data in Planning Center. Qualifications Strong leadership and communication skills Experience working with children in a ministry or educational setting Passionate about ministering to children as well as their parents Understanding that their role is to BRIDGE children and their parents to Christ Organized, creative, and capable of training and motivating children’s volunteers Servant’s heart willing to work with a variety of personality types

Job Duties:

Recruit, motivate, and train qualified children’s volunteers for children’s ministry Train, support, and oversee all children’s volunteers Meet with the Pastor weekly to discuss ministry goals, progress, problems, and opportunities Ensure every volunteer has the required background check Plan, organize, and recommend programs and materials that will BRIDGE children and their parent’s to Christ Meet, when needed, with children, parents, and volunteers Evaluate Children’s Ministry quarterly to ensure goals are met Input and maintain church data in Planning Center Prepare and send welcome cards or emails to 1st and 2nd time guests Create, design, and print Sunday bulletins Report to the
