Worship Pastor Full-time (or Part-Time) First Baptist Church of Tellico Village (FBCTV) of Loudon, Tennessee is seeking a Worship Pastor. This position is responsible for providing leadership in our worship ministries, including praise team, worship choir, instrumentalists, and production team. The position’s focus is to lead a worship service filled with passionate praise, while blending contemporary Christian music with the great hymns of the faith.

Requirements Summary:

Must possess a vibrant and solid Christian faith with continued growth in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in all ministry pursuits.
Able to lead Sunday morning worship services including praise team, worship choir, instrumentalists, and production team.
Must have a proven work ethic, successful leadership skills, and a solid theological foundational understanding of God’s word.
Able to plan, select,anize, practice, and execute a worship script in conjunction with the Sunday sermon and/or the weekly Bible focus in cooperation with the pastoral ministry team.
Have a heart to work with and disciple a congregation of mostly retired people.
Besides worship duties, t will be an expectation of an additional ministryponent to help balance our current pastoral staff if the position is to be full-time. About our

FBCTV is a vibrant, active church and quite unique in that the church membership has people from multiple denominational backgrounds. We are situated in a major retirement area, hence we have very few young couples or children in the congregation. We have grown to about 400 members since our beginning in 1997. FBCTV is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. FBCTV is a congregational church, led by an Elder Team and a Deacon Team. Besides our Lead Pastor, our pastoral staff includes an Associate Pastor and Worship Pastor (this opening). Our mission statement is Love God, Love Others, and Reach Our World for Christ, and this is what we are striving to do as we seek to live “in the moment, on the mission, for the Master, 24/7/365.” We are strategically training our body of believers to reach the people in the areas around us by equipping them to be “disciples who make disciples.” God is gathering an incredible congregation with thismitment.
