First Assembly of God Church in Clarksville, Tennessee, is seeking a motivated and experienced ministry couple to expand our outreach and ministry to the children, young families and young couples of our congregation andmunity. Our congregation is experiencing an exciting time of growth and we aremitted to reaching, training and serving the children, young families and young couples of ourmunity.

Our congregation currently ministers to approximately 250-300 people through our weekly in-person services.

Ministry Description:

The Children’s & Young Families Pastor is responsible for providing loving pastoral care to the children, young families and young couples of Clarksville First Assembly of God Church. The Children’s and Young Families Pastor will also assist the Lead Pastor in various pastoral care ministries (preaching, teaching in our Bible School, home visitation, hospital visitation, funerals, baptisms,munion, etc.). General ministry responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Cast a clear vision for the growth and development of a healthy and vibrant ministry to the children, young families and young couples of the church
• Recruit, develop and train volunteer ministry teams
• Create custom Bible-based children’s curriculum, including Sunday lessons and take-home activities
• Develop an active outreach ministry to preschoolers, elementary children and their families
• Plan,anize, staff, and coordinate engaging summer programs for children and young families
• Train, staff and implement ministries to children with special needs and their families
• Cast vision and develop a Young Couples Ministry
• Plan and coordinate regular events for young couples and young families
• Collaborate with the Youth Directors to ensure seamless integration of children into the youth group
• Develop and implement safety and security policies for children, including, but not limited to: effective use of check-in and check-out technology (current check-in/out system is already in place)
• Plan and participate in parent/child dedication services and classes
• Oversee and supervise all Children’s Ministry volunteers (Sunday & Wednesday ministries)
• Coordinate and staff church nursery for all Sunday, Wednesday and church-wide events
• Assist planning and coordination of Spring & Fall Family Fun Nights with the leadership team
• Promote and attend Summer Children’s Camp (held yearly at Camp Jackson)
• Oversee special event planning for all Children’s Ministries, to include Kid’s Camps, Retreats, Outreach Events, VBS/Kid’s Week, Conferences, etc.
• Effectively utilize the various modes ofmunication to keep children, young families and young couples engaged and informed (social media, web, emails, etc.)
• Manage all church social media related to Children’s, Young Families and Young Couples Ministries
• Posses the necessary technical skills to run sound, lighting and presentations for Children’s services and events (ProPresenter)
• Assist Lead Pastor in various pastoral care ministries (preaching, teaching in our Bible School, home visitation, hospital visitation, funerals, baptisms,munion, etc.

)

Couple must be mature Spirit-filled Christians.
Maintain a healthy prayer and study life.
Demonstrate love, integrity, humility and positivity in life and ministry.
Bemitted to reaching and teaching children, young families and young couples.
Embrace the overall ministry vision of Clarksville First Assembly of God Church.
Children’s Pastor must hold active ministerial credentials (Assemblies of God preferred).
Children’s Pastor must be a University graduate with a B.A. in an appropriate field (M.A. preferred).
At least three years of experience in Children’s Ministry in a medium-to-large sized congregation.
Financially support Clarksville First Assembly of God Church through tithes and offerings.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary and benefits to be determined based on education and experience (Est. 40k
• 50k gross per year)
