PG Fellowship seeks a full-time or bi-vocational pastor with a desire to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip, empower, and disciple others to serve God. We are excited to have a church with a rich history and a promising future. The church is made up of a warm and caring congregation of approximately 100 members who love each other and love to worship and fellowship with one another. We believe in one true God, water baptism, and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are as active today as they were 2,000 years ago. PG Fellowship is looking for an ordained pastor within a 100 mile radius of Buffalo Valley who is called by God to preach the inerrant Word of God with relevancy to today’s living. The candidate must have a testimony of salvation and a love for God, His Word, and people. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years pastoral experience or its equivalence. Discipleship andmunity outreach, especially to young families, are important. We are seeking to hire a visionary Pastor with strong leadership skills; someone who is family oriented, trustworthy, accountable, humble, and a lifelong learner. The candidate would be required to preach at various services, perform weddings, funerals and baptisms, The candidate will also work beside the Board of trustees on spiritual, financial, and practical issues. Host special events and guests as required
Maintain a strong professional image reflective of the church mission
Conduct personal and premarital counseling services
Work with church board of trustees to determine the direction of theanization
Implement programs and events in alignment with the church’s mission
Carry outmunity support initiatives such as trips and activities
Negotiate business deals for the benefit of the church
Participate in continuing education and or trainings Support the church with your prayers, presence, and tithes. Perform other job requirements as deemed necessary by the board Qualifications for Pastor Minimum 2 years of experience as a pastor rmended but not required
Must be ordained in their faith and provide credentials or a plan to acquire credentials
Must the vision of the church to the lost and empower, equip, and disciple members in the ministry.
Be willing to reach out throughmunity involvement including projects and missions
Possess good written and verbalmunication skills
Exhibit exceptional problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Be willing to provide marriage and other counseling
Strong speaking and presentation skills
Good active listening and willingness to help
Service-oriented with genuine care for the wellbeing of people
Excellent social perceptiveness and engagement
Cast vision for direction and growth of the church
Participate in all church meetings andmunity engagements
Perform weddings, baptisms, and funerals
Oversee the facilities and seek repair as needed
