Regency Senior Living is a Non-Mandate Company a The resident assistant is a member of the Assisted Living team who,under the guidance and supervision of Named Supervisor, providespersonal care and assistance to residents in their homeenvironment. Under periodic but regular supervision of NamedSupervisor, the resident assistant performs observations designedto assist in the gathering of data relevant to the residents’ needsand performs care for the residents as indicated, utilizingequipment or supportive therapy as ordered. The resident assistant provides basic personal care,including bathand hygiene care, meal assistance, resident transfers andassistancewith ambulation and range of motion. The resident assistant willassist with Housekeeping duties, such aslaundry, cleaning ofresidents room and common areas, vacuuming. They also willhelp withpreparing the dining rooms for meals, cleaning after meals,andserving meals to the residents, and daily Activities. Theresident assistant isresponsible for communicating with theNamedSupervisor, resident and family as indicated. Documentation iscompleted per protocol. The resident assistant is responsibleforcomplying with policies regarding health and safety in the homeenvironment.
