Job Description

Resident Assistant Impact 360

Institute Pine Mountain, GA Scope of Position:

Assist Fellows team with biblical worldview and spiritual formation through mentoring and relational discipleship, grading student coursework, leadership coaching, and residence life. This role directly serves Impact 360 Institute’s mission by helping to equip Fellows students to become leaders who follow Jesus.

Learning Community Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Fellows experience with experiential learning, residence life, spiritual formation, and student development. Assist the Fellows experience in accurately grading undergraduate work. Reside on campus while students are in residence and serve on a regular campus- coverage rotation during evening and weekend hours for intentional student relational engagement, mentoring for character development and restorative discipline, and for response to emergency situations (approximately 1-2 nights/week and 1 weekend/month). Participate in regular coaching and leadership development sessions with Resident and Fellows Staff members. Serve as a Bible study co-leader to increase biblical and spiritual growth. Serve as a coach for a student community group providing oversight and leadership development for students. Maintain office hours for tutoring and mentoring students in the integration of academic and spiritual development. Serve in a co-leadership staff role and assume a leadership rotation during a month-long International Immersion. (appx 40-60 hours/week) Occasionally facilitate undergraduate discussions during active learning programing, thereby helping to train students in servant leadership and Christian discipleship. Transport gap year students to off-campus learning experiences and multi-night retreats.

Requirements:

An evangelical believer practicing an active faith in a New Testament-based denomination and is in unreserved agreement with the Institute’s Statement of Faith and Biblical Conduct and Lifestyle Standards. Must support the vision, values, philosophy and community standards of Impact 360 Institute. Graduate student enrolled in an approved graduate program on the Impact 360 Institute campus. Strong communication skills including one-on-one conversations, small group facilitation, public speaking, and writing in a manner consistent with our organizational purpose and beliefs. Required to live on the Impact 360 Institute campus. Ability and willingness to travel out of the country for a month-long international trip with the undergraduate students and staff. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to handle stressful situations with poise. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team as a team player and a team builder. Demonstrated capacity for patience, approachability, and dependability. Must have fewer than 3 driving violations in the last 5 years and be able to drive a 15- passenger van.
