- Directly supervise 5-10 7th thru 12th grade students in the boarding program
- Mentor students to help support their growth mentally, academically, and socially
- Keenly Monitor and track student behavior
- Implement the THRIVE boarding program with fidelity
- Communicate weekly with parents and families
- Set a positive example by being a role model for students in the program
- Plan and implement programs and activities to do with students
- Mediate conflicts and promote a positive living environment
- Assigned bus riding duties on Sundays
- Monitor evening detention as assigned
- Build positive relationships with staff members to promote family environment
- Other duties as assigned Live-In
- Help students to learn cook and clean to maintain a healthy living environment
- Assist students with homework nightly during study hall including some tutoring when necessary
- Document food services required meal counts
- Support students in meeting dress code requirements Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge or background in working with at-risk children and youth
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm and patience for working with middle and high school age students
- Willingness to work hard and with fidelity
