SUPERVISORY
experience with working with personal care in a home setting. Must possess CNA/ PCA/ Medical Assistance Certification and or willing to take PCA Certification and submit prior to hire. Has experience with working with the Medicaid Waiver Program. Has experience with working with the communities to provide quality care services. Experience with hiring and supervising PCA’s. Experience with working in an outpatient setting. Experienced with visiting clients in the home and providing personal care and homemaking tasks assigned. Experience with LaSRS is a plus. Reliable, dependable, and highly organized. Ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure clients are scheduled and seen by the PCA assigned Assignment of Clients to PCA as per Plan of Care Supervision of PCA’s assigned Community awareness of services offered Monitoring of PCA paperwork for accuracy and quality Field Training of PCA’s as assigned Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Assure client/aide coverage Maintain client census and assist with increasing market share growth Scheduling of aides Assure required documentation is submitted timely Skills include but not limited to: Proven experience as personal care assistant Proven supervisory experience Able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills Positive and compassionate attitude Strong ethics CPR / First Aide certified High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver’s license
