Minimum Job Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Mental health experience preferred Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays ONLY (shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)

Job Duties:

Complete daily checks of the premises and each resident’s room to ensure safety and security, to address any potential safety hazards such as debris, clutter, trip hazards, electrical/ fire hazards, and sanitary concerns. Welcome and orient new residents; assist with check-in and check-out processes for shelters or housing programs. Assist residents with skills training activities (making bed, laundry, cleaning, etc.). Accompany residents to other areas of the facility ensuring the security of facility belongings. Perform hourly bed checks during all shifts. Follow and complete chore lists to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment. Document the residents’ progress and maintain clinical record in accordance with all licensing and accreditation requirements and the residents’ individual housing and service plans. Address and resolve resident complaints, reporting outcomes to the supervisor. Complete and submit required reports, including vehicle logs, maintenance logs, time sheets, and inventories. Stay informed on behavioral health symptoms, treatment options, and coping strategies. Maintain up-to-date documentation of each resident’s medical, social, and behavioral needs, services received, medications, and provider contacts. Engage and assess clients’ barriers to housing and educate/ assist with available resources. Coordinate with community resources and services that are on clients housing/service plans.
