  • Winona home Our Residential department is looking for a full time Assistant Program Director to join our team at one of our Peabody homes.
Schedule:

Tuesday 11:00 am

  • 7:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Thursday 11:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 11:00 am-7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am
  • 5:00 pm
Job Summary:

To provide quality living supports and be responsive to individuals and staff at all times. Teach, support and facilitate choices for people in their homes and within their communities. Assist with the day-to-day operation of the home.

Major Responsibilities:

Document accurately and thoroughly including in Inter-Team Communication Logs, Health Records, Daily Data Books and Fire Drill Logs as outlined in Northeast Arc Policy and Procedures Participate in Supervision, Staff Meetings, QAs and other meetings/trainings as deemed necessary. Administer medications according to Northeast Arc Policies and Procedures and MAPs Regulations. Support Drs appointments, ER and hospital visits and contact on-call nursing appropriately. Provide hands-on support at the home, including individualized supports in transferring, bathing and grooming, and following specific dining protocols and treatments. Complete ISP documentation, incident reporting and other necessary documentation in accordance with Northeast Policies and Procedures and funding Regulations. Maintain and review records for individual and house bank accounts in accordance with Northeast Arc Policy and Procedures; assist with Rep Payee and entitlement paperwork as assigned.

Qualifications:

BS/BA preferred, HS Diploma/GED and two years Human Service Experience supporting adults with developmental disability or within human services. Maintain certifications as required in Northeast Arc Policy and Procedures, including but not exclusive to: First Aid, CPR, MAPs, Vehicle Safety, UP, Human Rights Officer and Formal Fire Safety Trained. Maintain a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push wheelchairs, provide physical intervention as necessary and be able to lift and/or transfer individuals. Works in the community in a home setting with either multiple residents or someone who lives independently.

Full-Time Pay Rate:

$24/hr.
