Responsible for working with Residential team to providestudents on respective dormitory with a safe, clean and structuredliving environment that fosters student retention, satisfaction,achievement and success. Follows all integrity guidelines andprocedures and ensures no manipulation of student data. Maintains asafe and clean dorm environment. o Provides quality supervision tostudents in the dormitory. o Ensures the accuracy and completenessof incident and shift reports. o Ensures the physical security ofthe dorm area and reports concerns to dorm supervisor. Maintainsadequate levels of inventory per established department reorderpoints and proactively orders supplies to meet departmentrequirement. Active member on case management and success teams toensure student success in the program. Initiates work orders tomake necessary repairs as required and follows-up with maintenanceto ensure completion. Provides transportation as required. In theabsence of the Residential/Dorm Supervisor, will be responsible tocoordinate staff coverage to ensure student areas are supervisedand that staff adhere to rest and meal break requirements.

Motivates and manages staff to work effectively, creates asupportive work environment and recognizes staff accomplishments.

Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely andaccurate manner. o Maintains appropriate personal attendance,accountability and work productivity standards. o Plans,prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goals anddeadlines. Understands and applies job knowledge to effectivelycomplete all required job responsibilities. Proactively maintainsthe skills required to perform job duties. Mentors, monitors andmodels the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.Provides high-quality supervision and management for the studentpopulation and positively influences student behavior. Showsrespect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable fortheir actions and behavior. Provides timely operational support forCenter operations to ensure quality programs and services. Pursuesimprovement in Center operations to fulfill program objectives.

Communication:

Exchanges ideas and information, both orally and inwriting, in a clear and concise manner and contributes meaningfullyto group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Providesquality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested.

Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas. Identifies problems,analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to takingor recommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriateaction is taken and that problems are in fact corrected. Works inpartnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effectivesupervision and services are provided to students. Acceptsdirection and supervision from the Center Director/Center DutyOfficer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily performjob responsibilities of other departments and positions. Otherduties as assigned. Oversee respective dorm area and uses properjudgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues andconcerns. As a Lead Residential Advisor, provides mentoring,support and guidance to Residential Advisor staff. Providesindividualized student case management to maintain studentenrollment and success in the program. Supervises residential staffas directed and may serve as the Acting Residential/Dorm Supervisorin his/her absence. Qualifications High School Diploma orequivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of oneyear Job Corps or related program experience required. A validin-State Drivers License preferred. Physical requirements includesitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/orpushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstratesthe ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the liftload in order to ask for necessary assistance. “Adams andAssociates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
